It’s worth being precise about which number this is: the physical PhilID card also displays a separate 16-digit PCN (PhilSys Card Number), a tokenized identifier tied to that specific card rather than to the person, which changes if the card is lost or reissued. This checker validates the 12-digit PSN — the number that stays with you for life — not the 16-digit PCN printed on the card face.
What this checker verifies
This tool confirms the input is exactly 12 digits. Unlike several other national IDs in this list, the PSN carries no embedded date-of-birth, gender or region code — the PSA generates it as a random number — so a shape check is the most this format alone can confirm.
What a pass doesn’t confirm
A 12-digit match doesn’t mean the PSA actually issued that PSN or that it belongs to a real registrant. It also doesn’t validate a 16-digit PCN, which is a different, card-specific number this tool isn’t designed to check.

Not exactly. The PSN is your permanent 12-digit PhilSys Number. The physical card also carries a separate 16-digit PCN (PhilSys Card Number) — a tokenized card identifier that can change if your card is reissued. This checker validates the 12-digit PSN, not the 16-digit PCN.
Does the PSN encode my birth date or region like some other countries' IDs?
