Domestically, that same number is dialed with a leading trunk 0: 077 123456. The 0 is specific to local dialing and is dropped, not converted into something else, when the number is written in full international form.
How this validator works
Enter the number domestically (077123456) or internationally (+37477123456); this tool checks the digit count and the 2-digit prefix against Armenia’s numbering plan using Google’s libphonenumber, entirely in your browser. Because the trunk 0 is easy to leave in by mistake, the validator specifically catches +3740… entries, along with 8-digit codes that don’t map to any assigned Armenian prefix.
What a pass doesn’t tell you
A pass confirms the digits form a structurally valid Armenian number — not that the line is switched on or the SIM is registered to anyone. Whether a number is currently reachable is a carrier-side question this browser-based check can’t answer.

How many digits does an Armenian phone number have after +374?
Eight. A full Armenian number is a 2-digit operator or area code plus a 6-digit local number — 77 123456, for example — giving 8 digits total after the country code, or 9 digits domestically once the leading 0 is added.
Why does a domestic Armenian number start with 0?
Armenia uses 0 as its domestic trunk prefix, dialed before the 2-digit code — 077 123456, for instance. That 0 is dropped, not replaced, when you switch to +374 international form: +374 77 123456.
Does a valid check confirm an Armenian mobile is reachable?
No. It confirms the 8 digits after +374 match a real Armenian numbering pattern via Google's libphonenumber — it can't confirm the SIM is active, since that requires a live carrier lookup this client-side tool doesn't perform.
