How this validator works

Because mobiles and landlines follow different structures here — flat 9-digit mobiles versus area-coded landlines — the validator catches the case where a landline’s 0 gets left in front of +995, or where a mobile number is a digit short or long.
What a pass doesn’t tell you
A pass confirms the number matches a valid Georgian mobile or landline pattern — it says nothing about whether that specific SIM is topped up or that landline is connected. Format validity and live-service status are answered by different systems; this tool only handles the first.

Why don't Georgian mobile numbers have area codes?
Georgia uses a closed national numbering plan for mobiles — every number is 9 digits starting with 5, with no separate area code to strip or add, unlike landlines which do carry a city code such as 32 for Tbilisi. That flat structure is exactly what this validator checks against.
What replaces the 0 when I add +995 to a Georgian number?
Georgian landlines dial a domestic 0 before the area code (0322 for a Tbilisi line, for example), but that 0 disappears entirely in international form — +995 replaces it rather than sitting alongside it. Mobile numbers generally don't carry a 0 at all, domestically or internationally, since they're dialed directly by their 9-digit number.
Does a valid result mean the Georgian number is currently in service?
No. This tool checks that the digits match a real Georgian mobile or landline pattern using Google's libphonenumber — it doesn't confirm the SIM is active or the line is connected, which only the carrier can verify.
